This series of TIES concerts include works chosen by an international jury of electroacoustic practitioners, which provide a snapshot of the latest research and exploration in sound art happening around the world.

Shoppers turn market sounds into music, as video software tracks their physical gestures. As market-goers engage with the piece as a musical instrument, "sonic instants" (footsteps, shouts, barks) re-form into musical gestures. Through disassembly and reassembly we re-imagine perceptions that are normally masked by habit and routine.
