Robert Praxmarer is a highly educated computer science engineer and media artist, who decided in 1998, because of his interests in art, especially in media art, to join the Ars Electronica Futurelab very early in his career. Praxmarer has been a freelancer in the Ars Electronica Futurelab for 5 years now. In this time he is collaborating with well known traditional artist as well as emerging media artists. He uses the Futurelab as a platform to create his own artworks and expands his knowledge in science and technology. His work is very concept orientated both in a technical and artistic way. In 2001 he first exhibited the network-based installation 'nuK-ke
