Hélio Alvarenga Nunes, 1974, lives and works in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais, Brazil). Master’s degree student in Visual Arts at the Fine Arts School (Belas Artes, EBA) of Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Graduated by EBA-UFMG - competence in painting, 2005. Today, he is part of the studies and research group “Strategies of the art in the Catastrophic Era” (http://www.eba.ufmg.br/grupo/), led by Drª Maria Angélica Melendi de Biasizzo. From 2005 to 2006, he worked with Mabe Bethônico in the art collective “museumuseu” (http://www.ufmg.br/museumuseu/). He researches and writes on Contemporary Art and New Media.
