I am a curator, critic and educator based in the Bay Area. At present, I curate the Worth Ryder Gallery and coordinate the Graduate Lecture Series for the Department of Art Practice at the University of California, Berkeley. I am also a lecturer in the Department of Art at College of Marin in Kentfield, CA. My writing has appeared in numerous print and online publications including Afterimage, Leonardo, Shotgun Review, Camerawork: A Journal of Photographic Arts, and Open Space, the blog of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. I am a regular contributor to Artillery magazine.I received an M.A. in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts, San Francisco, in 2005, and a B.S. in Studio Art from New York University, completed 1997.
