Wed Feb, 16 2022, 7PM
On Wednesday, February 16, Friends with Benefits, Outland, and Rhizome gather at NeueHouse Hollywood for a night of art, music, and conversation. The event features the premiere of Ryan C. Clarke's Rhizome-commissioned Shirley Sound & Further Processions (2022), an audio-video deep listening session that considers what is lost in Black music as a result of its digitization and compression. Conversations organized by Outland's editor Brian Droitcour and DJ sets programmed by Friends with Benefits round out the event.
Limited slots are available—please RSVP, here.
