As much as i love scrolling: How does Daniel know the size of a pixel that i see? I might look at this web page on an eeePC or i might project it in a cinema. There is no way for him to find out. Assuming "1 inch = 96 pixels", 96 dpi, is just some random standard used in browsers.
So in fact the virtual space stays as virtual as always.
agreed. virtual space is beautifully stubborn when it comes to trying to convert/compress/translate it into the physical realm.
