Brisbane, Australia-based media artist, Tim Plaisted has a exhibition of kinetic video objects called “New TV“. “Works such as TV Swing (2006), Public Opening (2006) and iPod Aviary (2006) were developed through an investigation into how intentional or unexpected movement to the video holding surface contribute to a rereading of moving images. Six new works span the gallery space and windows combining installation, software, projection and wearable technology.” Pretty nice collection of projects that all make some type of physical movement.
