ARC Co-Director Iliyana Nedkova is one of the few curators invited to review new art work produced in the Netherlands as part of Impakt Festival 2006: The Great Outdoors. This year’s festival is scheduled for August 23rd - 27th at the Centraal Museum in Utrecht. Apart from all the great outdoor projects including Audio Picnics, AV-BBQs and Floating Cinema sailing through the canals of Utrecht, the Impakt Festival also includes the first Dutch solo exhibition of Olaf Breuning; a film introspective of Hans Op de Beeck, and a live audio set by Phillip Jeck, set to the Eisenstein classic Battleship Potemkin.
