Open by appointment from 19th July to August 28th 2005 The Summer of Folk at HTTP is a re-evaluation of the conventional exhibition experience, combining intellectual and sensual activities. Visitors are invited to contribute to a Physical Folksonomy - to browse, borrow and organise books and journals from ThE DiStRiBuTeD LiBrArY whilst savouring delicious Iranian sweets and a cup of El Salvadorian coffee supplied by Feral Trade, traded along social networks. Visitors of all backgrounds and experiences are requested to suggest and demonstrate their ideas for displaying, categorising and borrowing books from the library. All contributions will be documented and made accessible on the wiki, as well as in the gallery space
