'The Kingdom,' a project by Doria Garcia for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona's exhibition 'Inserts in Real Time,' uses performance, documentation, and networked art to mix poetic fiction with the Museum's everyday realities. The work includes a cast of players who 'perform' in the Museum, but the line between the performance and daily routine is ambiguous. On the project Website, visitors can interact with controllable Web cams and search actions by player, date and place. Full of varied surprises, 'The Kindgom' even lists Hans Haacke's 'Condensation Cube' as one of its 'players.' Through 30 March, 2003. -- Ryan Griffis
