You Move Me, an interactive site-specific art installation comprised of
1000 hand-cut chimes activated by street traffic, will be on display in
Manhattan for the month of March across from the MoMA. The artists,
Kathleen Marie McDermott and Edward Kim-Yujoong, have been afforded this
opportunity thanks to Chashama, a non-profit dedicated to the
beautification of public spaces while fostering local talent in New York
City. Their proposal was chosen over hundreds of others. This
installation is also supported in part by a grant from the National
Endowment for the Arts.
Join us for a viewing party Thursday, March 24 from 7 – 9pm.
Complimentary beer, wine and appetizers will be provided, and other
artists' work will also be on display.
Location: 20 w. 53rd St. between 5th and 6th Avenue
