The Juror: Dana Sperry is currently an Assistant Professor in Interdisciplinary Digital Media at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. The Exhibition: To be eligible the artist must be 18 years or older. The exhibition is open to all media (utilitarian, digital, video (DVD-Video), print, etc.) with size limitations of 8’ x 8’ for 2-d and 8’ height and 100 lb limit for 3-d. Installations must come with specific directions for set-up and must fit in a 15’l x 15’w x12’h gallery space.

Entry Procedure: Digital images only, unmanipulated, unenhanced, jpeg images which must be submitted on a CD. Label each jpeg with last, first name, title, and # that corresponds with that image. As follows: smith\_joe\_title\_1.jpg There with be a $30 non-refundable jurying fee for 1-3 works. You may submit additional entries at the rate of $5 per each. The Allen Priebe Gallery will retain submitted images of accepted entries as part of its permanent collection. CDs will not be returned. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the Allen Priebe Gallery.

Judging: All entries will be judged from digital images (JPEG format on CD)/ videos (DVD-Video). If at the time of delivery an accepted work is found to have been misrepresented, it may be disqualified. Notification of accepted work will be sent by mail by December 20, 2010. Cash awards will be announced at the reception on February 24.

Delivery: All work must be matted/framed appropriately and ready to hang or install. Hand delivered work will be accepted at the art office (A/C Building, Rm 325) M-F, 8am-4pm only. All work must arrive at the gallery no later than January 29, 2011 and must either be picked up after the exhibit or have prepaid return shipping arrangements through UPS or FedEX. The artist is responsible for all shipping and insurance fees while in transit. Shipped art work should be packed in a sturdy re-useable box.

Disclaimer: The juror reserves the right to reject any work submitted at their discretion. Also, any work not matching the digital images entered will be disqualified. Juror will determine winners of cash awards. If the art is for sale, all sales to be negotiated by artist/buyer, the gallery receives no commission.
