Opening reception: Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 6:00 -7:00pm.
Address: Obudai Tarsaskor, 1036 Budapest, III. Kiskorona u. 7.
Beata Szechy's installation is a story telling of her life. She comes to that point in her live when they question where she's been, where she presently is, and where she is going. The struggles for identity, the insights, and eventual finding the voices and thus becoming an exhibition. The installation like opening a book, like opening a door. It is like holding Szechy's past, present and her future in our hands….. “When the idea for this exhibition first came up, I really struggled with it. Now, I let my work speak for itself." The installation symmetrically composed. Includes photographs, video, sounds, aromas, candles and objects. The installation attempts to suggest that while we are cleaver enough to recognize the reality and truth, must be found the solutions.
