Midwest SPE (Kalamazoo 2010) proudly welcomes proposals for panels, and/or workshops from photographers, writers, educators, curators, scholars, historians and professionals from other fields. Presentations may include but are not limited to workshops, historical surveys, contemporary theory and criticism, interdisciplinary approaches, emerging technologies, effects of media and culture, education, funding, and imagemaker presentations of work in photography, film, video, performance and installation. Proposal for lens-based media exhibitions are also being considered. All submissions are juried by a peer review panel.
