DATES
start for Application: April 12th, 2010
in situ project in Munich: May 13th - 15th, 2010

BACKGROUND
This project consists of two parts.

PART 1. > IN-SITU
An installation in public space in Munich, Germany taking place in May 2010 together with screenings of posted input from Query-onlineart-project. Google Maps will be taken from the virtual into real space: big balloon, shaped like Google mark, floating above the Court Church of All Saints in Munich Residenz, visible at day and night, with question mark/query on them, querying the churches below such as:

Is God only a delusion?
What is concealed behind the religions ?
Where are they positioned in our lives ?
Which place are we ready to give them ?
Are only supernumeraries in the battle of giants ?
Do we still need houses of God such as churches, mosques or temples ?
Are we giving the Internet and economics too much authority once again?
Didn't the presidential elections in Iran prove, that the internet, with its state of secularism, can be used as a resistance, too?
And what role does atheism play in our society, bringing with it a naturalistic world-view?
Or agnosticism with its' secular, evolutionary-humanistic ethics?

PART 2. > ONLINE
takes place in Internet and is meant as a open art project and discussion platform and existed since September 2010.

OPEN CALL
Artists, cultural workers and anyone else interested in this discussion concerning confessions, believers, atheists and agnostics from all over the world are invited to put their queries, suggestions, comments, point of view or their feedback in terms of video, pictures or text, in Internet. A website www.query-online.net was created in order to enable a platform for all that feedback. On this website a Google-Map-Site is incorporated with the same mark as in Munich. Thanks to all the tools provided by Google Maps, we can add images, videos and comments to the maps. The visitors in Situ and online can literally visualize their opinions and are encouraged to comment on for that asked forum.

APPLICATION
The application form is available online on www.query-online.net and must be filled in and sent online. Please follow the online instructions for filling out the application form and uploading your contribution.
