The Center for Fine Art Photography announces a new call for entry for its August Main Gallery Show,
Strange Beauty, Main Gallery Show July 30 through August 21, 2010
Deadline for submission May 18th, Midnight online at www.c4fap.org
Theme: What is beautiful? The places where we find beauty may not be the typical places we look. We are interested in images that explore the boundaries of beauty.
Juror: Darren Ching and Debra Klomp are co-owners, of Klompching Gallery and are passionate about brining to the public’s attention the work of exciting new talent, as well as under appreciated photographers by established artists. Klompching Gallery is described as ‘dynamic’ and ‘one of the galleries to watch in NYC’. It’s exhibition have been reviewed in publication such as The New Yorker, Hotshoe, New York Magazine, ArtReview, New York Times, The British Journal of Photography, The Architect’s Newspaper and Modern Painters.
Exhibition and Awards: With selection for this exhibition, artist’s work will be seen by an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants and others who appreciate the fine art of photography.

• Director's Selection Award: $200 and a Blurb book award from www.Blurb.com

• All exhibitors are included in the Center's online gallery
Eligibility: The exhibition is open to photographers both amateur and professional. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.

•Entries due: May 18, 2010
•Notice of acceptance: May 28, 2010
•Exhibition dates: July 30 - August 21, 2010
•Artists’ and Public Reception: August 6, 2010
Entry Fee:
•The entry fee for non-members is $35 USD for the first three images.
•The entry fee for members of The Center for Fine Art Photography is $20.00 USD for 3 images.
•Additional images may be submitted for $10 each. There is no limit to the number of images that may be submitted.
Applicants signing up for membership at the time they submit their work for jurying may become a member and meet the entry fee for a total of $77.00 USD.
