ARTE 2.0 VOCENTO
The art of exhibiting art online. Third Edition.

Open call for proposals by VOCENTO in collaboration with ARCOmadrid 2010 International Contemporary Art Fair, Madrid.

VOCENTO and ARCOmadrid announce a competition of ideas to provide art galleries with web solutions, and to provide opportunities to enhance their online presence and networking potential.

The competition wishes to respond to the shifting context of online environments – from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 and beyond – and to draw attention to the dynamic potential of the web as a research, production and presentation platform for the specific context of art.

ARTE 2.0 VOCENTO invites individual and collaborative proposals by programmers, software engineers, designers and artists alike, that combine creative and critical thinking, technical solutions with practical competence.

ARTE 2.0 VOCENTO aims to enable the development of a powerful tool or web environment for art context, and to promote creative, original, innovative and speculative thinking in a fast developing field, reflecting new social sensibilities and art’s ability to surprise.

Total award is 15.000 euros.

CONCURSO DE IDEAS ARTE 2.0 VOCENTO: el Arte de Presentar Arte Online
Tercera Edición

Convocado por VOCENTO en colaboración con la feria de Arte Contemporáneo ARCOmadrid 2010, Madrid.

VOCENTO y ARCOmadrid anuncian un concurso de ideas para dotar a las galerias de arte de soluciones web, y para proveer oportunidades para aumentar tanto su presencia online como su potencial de networking

El concurso se sitúa en el contexto evolutivo de la web 2.0 a la web 3.0 y en adelante, proponiendo un pensamiento especulativo y experimental en el potencial del entorno de la web como un buscador, una plataforma de producción y presentación para el contexto específico de arte.

ARTE 2.0 VOCENTO invita a obtener propuestas tanto individuales como colaboraciones por parte de programadores, ingenieros de software, diseñadores y artirtas, que combinen una forma de pensamiento crítica con soluciones prácticas.

ARTE 2.0 y VOCENTO tienen como propósito el desarrollo de una herramienta poderosa o contexto web para promover ideas creativas, originales e innovadoras en un campo que se desarrolla rápidamente, reflejando nuevas sensibilidades sociales y habilidades artísticas sorprendentes.
