In this 4 hour intensive you will learn the basic concepts of the Photoshop environment. Photographers leery of the digital realm can get their feet wet with this no-nonsense introduction to the best 'digital-darkroom' in the industry. Whether you are a non-photographer, novice photographer, artist, non-artist, art director, designer, publisher, or writer you will learn how to perform digital miracles on your photos upon completing this class. Image manipulation, resolution, file size, bit depth, image adjustment, color correction, brush settings, cloning, healing, layers, type, filters, effects, and the difference between raster and vector graphics will be covered. We will also create and retouch images. All sessions include hands-on practice on Mac computers. Participants who prefer may bring their own PC laptops provided Adobe Photoshop version CS2 is already installed. There will be a 45 minute break, please bring a snack!
