The Center for Fine Art Photography announces a new Call for Entry
Motion, A fine art photography show

Our lives are in constant motion. Photography can stop time and suspend life in one moment. It can capture the passage of hours, day, or a single second, in one image. The Center is looking for images that depict all types of motion.

Juror: Rich Clarkson

Rich Clarkson’s professional career has span over 50 years and has included the positions of director of photography and senior assistant editor of The National Geographic Society, contract photographer for Sports Illustrated, NCAA, Time and Life, and has covered eight world Olympics. Clarkson was named by American Photo magazine as one of the 50 most influential individuals in American photography.

Exhibition and Awards: With selection for this exhibition, artists and their work will be seen by an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants and others who appreciate the fine art of photography.
•Juror’s Selection Award: $300
•Director's Selection Award: $200
•Artists’ ShowCase Online Awards: Two artists will receive a year subscriptions to Artists’ ShowCase Online, a $120 value (preview at www.artists-showcase.org)
•Gallery Visitor’s Choice Award: $100
•All exhibitors are included in the Center's online gallery

Eligibility: The exhibition is open to photographers both amateur and professional.

•Entries due: January 12, 2009
•Notice of acceptance: January 22, 2010
•Exhibition dates: March 13 - April 17, 2010
•Artists’ VIP Reception: March 13
•Auction Event with juror Rich Clarkson: March 14
•Artists’ and Public Reception: April 2

Entry Fee:
•The entry fee for non-members is $35 USD ($20 for members) for the first three images.
