2010 January Studio Intensives Application Deadline Extended

Evolve your artistic practice through our new three-week studio intensive, January 5-26, 2010. Designed as a multi-media opportunity for artists, participants will be encouraged to explore new means of realizing their artistic vision.

The program is designed for artists who have skills in a particular medium but seek to experiment by combining their skills with a different medium to see how it might impact and advance their work. Participants will be given dedicated studio space but will also have the opportunity to utilize the various studios on the Ranch campus and receive basic instruction in areas and mediums in which they may not be proficient.

Artists Joe Bova, Hung Liu and Rebeca Mendez will conduct studio visits during the 2010 intensive. Conversation with these artists will add a valuable element of critical insight into an individual's work.

Application deadline is October 26, 2009.
