New Visions, Deadline Oct 20, 2009 at Midnight PST

Thinking outside the box, New Visions will feature work that will test the limits, expose new ideas, and engage the viewer with contemporary photography. Alternative process, digital and traditional photography
Eligibility:
The exhibition is open to photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.
Juror Michael Itkoff :
Michael Itkoff is a Founding Editor of Daylight Magazine , a print and online publication. Daylight has become one of the premier showcases for contemporary photography, by collaborating with established and emerging artists, scholars and journalists. Itkoff has been a reviewer for New York Photo Festival, En Foco, Critical Mass, ASMP and Santa Fe Center for Photography. He has been a recipient of the Howard Chapnick Grant for the Advancement of Photojournalism (2006), a Creative Artists Fellowship from the Pennsylvania Arts Council (2007), a Puffin Foundation Grant (2008) and recently published his monograph, Street Portraits, Charta Editions 2009.

Fifteen photographers will be chosen to display their twelve-image portfolio in The Center for Fine Art Photography’s Portfolio ShowCase Volume 4: Book and Online Exhibition.
Juror: Katherine Ware
Katherine Ware is Curator of Photography at the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe.
Awards: Book Cover Award, Exhibition Award, and more
Entry Fee:
•The entry fee for this call for entry is $65.00 for Members and $85.00 for Non-Members for the first body of work (12 images). Each additional portfolio, regardless of membership, is $85.00
•There is no limit on the number of portfolios that may be submitted.
