ARTErra- Artistic Rural Residence

ARTErra, is a new cultural structure of incentive to the creation. In a laboratory logic, the artist finds in the Arterra a house with a series of comforts and a yard of creation, where several spaces for the creation and development of an artistic work. This structure is placed in a village in PORTUGAL, Tondela, district of Viseu.
We are now receiving applications from artists in the following areas:
-Composer / songwriter
-Performance
-Photography
-Writing
-Painting
-Theater
-Sculpture
-Crafts…

Applicants are responsible for the funding of the residency participation fees, they can though do an application with ARTErra even if they haven’t secured the funding yet.
All residence programs we work with aim to provide a nice living environment, premises and equipment adapted for the creation, administrative and basic technical support as well as a social, cultural and artistic environment encouraging the exchange and dialogue.
