casa de citas: lugar en que el fragmento escrito queda desterritorializado para transformarse en una experiencia de abduccion en pleno hiperespacio.
uno de los rasgos mas propios del arte contemporaneo es su naturaleza procesual, incluso si se quiere progresiva, que lleva, a lo iniciado en una direccion, coger cuerpo en varios sentidos posibles; y asi acaba de ocurrir con te envio este rojo cadmio. al principio, incentivo a una recepcion viva de los trastoques que puede sufrir un intercambio postal diferido.
el desarrollo de la idea de la transaccion corresponsal, que nos permite postergar las respuestas, fue desplazando la idea de canje vivo, y para contrarrestarla se ha construido un nuevo ambiente en el que el ciudadano sufre encuentros simultaneos y progresivos.
primero tropieza con su deseo en el mismo momento de ingresar a la obra, ansia compartida con muchos otros, algunos de ellos telepresentes a traves del correo-e, momento en que descubre su atraccion por fuerzas que no solo son imanes para el; en esta fase de acceso a la obra, el ciudadano tambien puede interrogarse por el alcance de su apetito, al permitirsele ver la definicion del avatar que le suple, tanto como ver hasta que punto se aproxima al objeto en torno al que todos giran como derviches por delegacion.
en el epilogo de este ambiente, el segundo momento de la instalacion, el ciudadano descubre que el es un infimo elemento mas, como imagen sujeta a reglas dentro de unas ristras de codigo html de dificil lectura que lo ponen en red sin mucho convencimiento; en esta fase, como si de un ciudadano que acude a ser incorporado a la base registral de cualquier repositorio de datos se tratara, ahi, en ese nuevo orden de cosas que es la red, la imagen de cada ciudadano queda alojada, mixturada y resuelta en una dificil leccion, pero con la certidumbre de que tu no cuentas mucho en el resultado de estos sistemas maximos de giro alrededor del hechizo de alcanzar el logro comunicacional.
por eso, el envio de un primer rojo cadmio puso en tension todo un intercambio semantico que devino casa de citas, encuentros y fragmentos que dicen de ti mas que de lo otro.

house of words: a place in hyperspace where a piece of writing may experience an abduction.
one of the main features of contemporary art is its processing or even progressive nature. the beginning of an idea is led towards several possible directions. this same thing has just happened to i sent you a red cadmium. from the start, the project was an incentive to experience in a vivid way, the alterations that a piece of writing will suffer through its interchange online.
the idea of real correspondence transactions was put aside by an exchange of mail that would allow us to delay the answers. so we have created a new environment where the citizen suffers concurrent and progressive encounters.
first, they face their desire when entering the project, a desire shared by many others, some of them actually present through e-mail. then they discover a craving that is more than a magnet to them. at this stage of approximation to the work, when they are allowed to see the details of the manifestation that substitute them, the citizens may experience how far their appetite goes, approaching the object and surrounding it like a dervish mission.
at the second moment of this installation, the citizens find that they are just another element of the project. their images are just coded lines, html which are difficult to interpret, sending those images to the network without much discussion. at this stage, as if they were there just to be entered on a warehouse database, their image is homed, mixed and sorted in a complex discourse, but with the certainty of knowing that one doesn't count for the end result of these systems which play around the spell of achieving a communicational success. this is why when i sent my first red cadmium it brought around a semantic exchange that derived into house of words; meetings and fragments that say more about you than anything else.
