Climate for Change

  • Deadline:
    May 30, 2009, midnight
  • Location:
    GB

Do you have a passion for something? An active group of interesting people?

What would you do with a gallery space right in the center of Liverpool?

FACT has the space, equipment, materials and a team of people, and all we need is your networks and ideas!

FACT is staging an extraordinary experiment from 13 March - 31 May 2009, called Climate for Change, which we believe may be of interest to your group.

The exhibition started out as a response to Liverpool's 2009 Year of the Environment, but is taking a wider view of environmental crisis from the perspective of power and politics, linked to food crisis, house crisis, financial crisis and more.

We're going to be turning our main gallery space into an experiment for all kinds of artists and groups, both national and international to come together through workshops, talks, discussion, etc.

We are inviting different interest groups across Liverpool to use this space as their own. We have space for workshops, talks, screenings, discussions, residencies and more.

At the moment we are completely open for ideas. You could be in the gallery for one day or a week, you could run a workshop for your group, friends or the public, you could use it to raise awareness about what you do or just use it as a meeting place - for an away day or just to make your regular meetings a bit more visible.

This exciting exhibition is the first of its kind. It relies completely on human interaction and local networks - making it an excellent opportunity to get involved in one of Liverpool's most innovative networking and artistic events.
