Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in Las Vegas:

Off the Strip: 2 Weeks of Performance & Video Art: 04/02 - 04/17 2009

We welcome all artists or artist teams working in performance, situational aesthetics, creative movement, experimental video and other new media. The event will take place at CAC gallery as well as other venues located in historic downtown Las Vegas. Artist or artist teams are asked to challenge viewers with works that are new, progressive and that fall outside the traditional boundaries of established genres of the visual, theatre, dance, music, experimental film, etc. We are interested in work that represents a high level of innovation in concept and content by artists who reflect the rich diversity of our ethnical, cultural, sexual, and personal backgrounds.Download prospectus at www.lasvegascac.org/Prospectus.pdf
