Lower Manhattan Cultural Council presents the first event of Sites Unseen - The River to River UnParade, where Lower Manhattan will set the stage for dozens of artists as they wend their way through the historic Financial District. This is no ordinary parade - it is organized mayhem that offers captivating surprises around every corner. Participants will be led from “River to River” by Grand Marshal, WNYC’s Leonard Lopate. Along the way they will encounter The Equus Projects, choreographed by JoAnna Mendl Shaw for a horse and two dancers, Ralph Lee’s giant puppets, Phil Kline’s boombox orchestra, briefcase jugglers from Circus Amok and Obediah Wright’s stilt walkers, drummers, and dancers, and much, much more.
