A film festival exploring the moving image from its grassroots, invites artists of the genre to get involved

Call for feature fiction films, short films, music videos, documentaries, animation, dance films, student movies and video art

From the 13th to 16th November 2008, London celebrates Greek culture through the art of moving image and digital technology. Cosmocinema, supported by the Hellenic Centre, brings you the 1st London Greek Film Festival, which takes place at the heart of London, at The Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington Street, in Marylebone, London.

The festival aims to create an international meeting point for 1) Greek moving image artists and 2) international artists whose work exhibits anything that relates to Greece, its people, heritage and culture. The invitation is for artists that meet either of these criteria to showcase and present their work.

This is a call for feature fiction films, short films, music videos, documentaries, animation, dance films, student movies and video art, to present at the London Greek Film Festival.

The London Greek Film Festival will provide a welcoming space to artists, film-makers, producers, practitioners, academics, technologists and art-film lovers for discussion, education and networking with a diverse body of talent.

In addition to this, in house screenings and events, the festival will present an 'online' festival that will showcase the best contemporary talent in film and video based work.
