The Compound Eye and Strange Candy are pleased to present Home/Away From Home Festival: 4 evenings of theater, Beijing Opera, dance, and visual arts.

Increasingly, cell phones, internet, TV, and air travel obscure geographical borders; cultural borders come in easily marketable packages. Home becomes an elusive and complex thing. Is it where you were born? Is it something you accessorize? What dangers lie beyond borders? What if you were taken to a place where borders were those only you could create? Home/Away From Home will take place at The Connelly Theater (220 East 4th St. between A/B) March 10-13. Shows begin each night at 8pm and tickets can be purchased at the door.
