Artist House ~ Artist-in-Residence Niagara

The Artists House Artist-in-Residence Niagara is intended for professionals providing a peaceful setting to pursue their work. Situated in the unique environment of historic Niagara over looking the Niagara River, the house has been the home of the locally influential Zimmerman Family and the internationally renowned Artist Otto Erdesz. Focusing on individual needs, The Artist House offers time and space away from usual distractions and opportunity for local engagement. The duration of residencies are 2 weeks all year round, subject to availability.

The Artist House curates bi-annual exhibition and fundraiser in the spring and fall. Guests are offered to participate, exhibit and sell their work. Artists are also supported to hold workshops, floortalks, master classes or become involved with regional institutions. We are currently accepting project submissions in all disciplines. Please inform The Artist House administration in case an invitation letter for a Visa is required.
Work and Studio space include private suites suitable for research and composition and off site technical production spaces. Residency applications are accepted year round open to members of all artistic disciplines originating from any country. The duration of residencies are 2 weeks all year round, subject to availability.

Expenses
The Artist House program hosts two week residencies for $3000 CND. Reservations are to be paid in full, in advance and are non-refundable. Costs of travel, personal requirements, entertainment and materials for use during the residency are the responsibility of the Artist. Artists are able to supplement their residence costs by conducting workshops and master classes, or by selling or commissioning works.

Application: Who/How
Residency applications are accepted year round open to members of all artistic disciplines originating from any country over 19 years old. Selections are made on the basis of the quality of the overall work.
