In what ways do spirits animate words undetected? Can this spectacle world contribute to the secrets spoken in tongue? Collectively, another potential might be noticed watching words roam between the aural and the projected.
On Friday, February 24 from 3 to 6pm, “Moving Word & Image” pairs seven poets with seven image makers and a live coder to confess a tradition of expressive form(lessness) within the black art movement. In celebration of Black History Month, this event contributes to a nurtured negritude of oration and oscillation.
