Commissioning Art in the Public Realm

As part of ‘Situation Leeds’, a city-wide festival of contemporary art (16-26 May 2005), Axis invites a range of practitioners and post-graduate students to participate in a one-day workshop examining some of the hidden agendas behind ‘public art’.

Led by Cecilia Andersson, a Liverpool-based curator, the workshop will take place at the Round Foundry Media Centre, Leeds and at various locations around the city.
