Tessellated Anamnesis - Patterns For Unforgetting: Christian Bernard Singer
Two Installations at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery
March 20 through May 22, 2005.
Installation artist Christian Bernard Singer’s "living" landscape-environments evoke impressions of something intangible yet intuitively familiar as they turn on notions of interior/exterior space and place, belonging, memory, and time passing. Incorporating clay, glass, video and living mosses, Singer will present two installations that explore the idea of tracking the traces left by the body in both the landscape, and in time and place.
