Stillpoint Magazine is seeking essay submissions in the areas of critical theory, psychoanalytic theory, and social critique, oriented around the concept Salvage for our upcoming Supporters Issue.

Essays can be in the 1,250-1,500 word range and can explore various expressions of, or topics surrounding, the concept Salvage: to save something valuable or precious from loss or peril after the storm.

Please refer to the Stillpoint Magazine Style Guidelines and refer to our previous issues for a clear understanding of the type of essays we publish.

In our Supporters Issues, and in everything we publish, we emphasize the work of those historically marginalized in institutional settings and in publishing. We also emphasize the work of emerging scholars and writers. Everyone is welcome to submit work.
