The Department of Film & Media Studies at Hunter College CUNY is in search for a 3D Animation and Modeling Adjunct Professor for fall 2021.
Course: MEDP 36000 - 3D Animation and Modeling
Schedule: Thursdays 6:10-9pm, in-person at 68th & Lexington Hunter College Campus
The course uses Autodesk Maya to introduce 3D modeling and animation; the 3D adjunct professor must have expertise in Maya. This hands-on production course will examine concepts and practices that form the basis of 3D animation for video games, filmmaking and visual art. This is an introductory 3D animation course taught in a 16-seat Apple Macintosh computer lab following current COVID-19 social distancing specs.
The course is scheduled for Thursday 6:10-9pm. The fall semester runs from 08/25/2021 - 12/21/2021.
All Hunter faculty must have a terminal degree (PhD or MFA).
