Marjorie Kouns-BODY AS CANVAS will be presented as part of Omniart in conjunction with Art Basel / Miami this Friday, Dec. 3rd between 9pm and 2am at Warehouse One entrance at street level. (13th street and 1st court east right by PAC center of Miami). FREE.

BODY AS CANVAS blends dance, music, and painting into a visual, audio, and kinesthetic performance. Kouns has presented this work in LA and
NYC brings this one of a kind work to Miami this weekend. This is part of a series of events with Art Basel / Miami.

"Omniart: The Neighborhood as a Work of Art" is an 'urban intervention' taking place late evening of Dec. 3 on NE 13th Street, adjacent to the new Performing Arts Center (still under construction). The event encompasses warehouse-space exhibitions, outdoor sculptures and performances presented in vacant lost and on the street. Participating artists include Marjorie Kouns-BODY AS CANVAS, Tania Bruguera, Carlos Betancourt, Inigo Manglano-Ovale, Tina Spiro and Anne Wilson. Sponsored by Miami's Community Redevelopment Agency, the project represents an attempt to revitalize yet another downtown area through the display of contemporary art.
