3D Animation and Modeling Teaching Opportunity

The Department of Film & Media Studies at Hunter College CUNY is in search for a 3D Animation and Modeling Adjunct Professor for fall 2020. (This class may have to be online, CUNY has yet to determine if courses will be in-person or online or a mix.)

Course: MEDP 36000 - 3D Animation and Modeling
Schedule: Thursday 6:10-9pm, 8/26/2020 - 12/20/2020

The course uses Autodesk Maya to introduce 3D modeling and animation; the 3D adjunct professor must have expertise in Maya. This hands-on production course will examine concepts and practices that form the basis of 3D animation for video games, filmmaking and visual art. This is an introductory 3D animation course taught in a 16-seat Apple Macintosh computer lab.

The course is scheduled for Thursday 6:10-9pm. The fall semester runs from 8/26/2020 - 12/20/2020.

All Hunter faculty must have a terminal degree (PhD or MFA).
