Over the past few years, NYU Tisch ITP and NYU Shanghai IMA have been working in partnership to develop a new Global Low Residency Master's (MA) Program in Interactive Media Arts. The 12-month degree will involve 2 semesters of online learning in the Fall & Spring paired with 3 site-specific sessions at NYU Shanghai (Summer), NYU Berlin (January) and NYU NY (Summer). Details can be found in web page - https://itp.nyu.edu/lowres/
On Wednesday, October 16th at 11AM EDT, we'll be hosting a Facebook Live Info Session (https://www.facebook.com/events/519919108549344/)where we'll talk more about the program and answer any questions you might have.
Program Director Craig Protzel and Assistant Director of Admissions Midori Yasuda will lead the session live from the 4th floor of NYU's new "Media, Technology & Arts" building in Downtown Brooklyn. This is the brand new home for ITP and where the NY portion of the Low Res will happen! In the first part of the info session, we'll provide an overview of the program's culture, community and curriculum. The rest of the time will be dedicated to question and answer.
If there are specific topics or concerns you would like us to address, please feel free to reach out beforehand via email at LowRes@itp.nyu.edu. And if you are unable to tune in on the 16th, the session will be recorded and archived on the IMA Low Res Facebook Page.
We hope you can join us!
