Job Description:
The Art, Art History, and Film Department seeks an organized and motivated individual for the newly created Art Technology Manager position. We are a creative department looking for a vibrant individual to manage and support the day-to-day technical, educational, and research activities of our faculty and students and to promote these activities within and beyond the university. The Art Technology Manager will work closely with faculty and Information Technology Services to assess instructional technology needs and to develop solutions to support the department’s teaching, creative production, and academic research.

Requirements
• BA or BFA degree in a related field and two years of directly related experience.
• Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and operation (digital cameras, projectors, field recorders, TV monitors, media players, etc.).
• Experience in lab and classroom management.
• Expertise with a variety of printers (Epson P8000, Epson R3880, Xerox Phaser, Brother, etc.).
• Proficiency in software and hardware management and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of collections management and image acquisition.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Systemic understanding and passion for visual resources associated with art, art history, and film, especially digital technology and equipment, and an enthusiasm for engaging with a community of artists, scholars, and students.
• Experience with website/social media administration and content creation.
