OPEN CALL: International Open Call for Video, Animation, Moving Image Artworks

Plexus Projects (Brooklyn, NY) is seeking submissions of moving image artworks for "Vitrine", the first in a series of projected screenings in its storefront window. The exhibition will be on view April 19th, 2019 during Greenpoint Gallery Night. Submissions may include videos and animations that employ the use digital technologies including 3D scanning and modeling, motion capture, physical computing, data-driven and generative imaging, custom software, motion graphics, experimental image processing, as well as conventional video editing.
Previous exhibition screenings at Plexus Projects have included artists Carla Knopp, Federico Cuatlacuatl, Fernanda Bertero, James Bascara, James Proctor, Jason Isolini, Snow Yunxue Fu, Yefeng Wang, Maggie Hazen, Sophie Kahn, Timothy Earl Neill and others.
Submissions under five minutes are given priority however works of any length will be considered with the option to show an excerpt for the exhibition. Please note that this will be a silent window projection screening viewed from the street. Submissions may include either Vimeo URL(s) with download enabled or links to file sharing downloads (i.e. WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). Please include any necessary passwords to view/download videos with your submission links.
