FoodFutures Art Exhibition & Performance Series
An international project between Africa and Europe in the Kunsthalle Faust and in public space of in the City of Hannover

In cooperation with art professionals, food scientists, and ecologists KV Kunsthalle Hannover e.V. has developed a comprehensive exhibition and performance project on the topic of food for the future.
With artistic positions from Europe and Africa, the FoodFutures project addresses current
and future aspects of food security, the legal aspects surrounding it, sustainability solutions, along with the problems of fair distribution, and food waste issues.
The artworks selected should shed light on diverse regional frameworks and conditions in the context of food futures in related areas including the food practices, cultural traditions, along with topics related to the effects climate change and migration, as well as speculative visions for a better and a more sustainable food future.
All genres including Dance, Music, Visual Arts, Theater, Performance, Literature, as well as possible workshops with artistic content.
