Invitation for participation at the Fab workshop series

We would like to invite you to participate in our Fab
workshop series.

Fab (Filters and blockers) Workshop Preview:

Fab (Filters and blockers) is a collaborative art
project launched by co-Lab, Basel together with an
international group of selected artists and
technicians.

Fab focuses on artistic and human conscious ways of
merging art, fashion and new technology to redefine
the protective aspect of fashion.

Fab will start on July 26th 02 with a workshop series
as inspiring starting point for the development and
realization of interdisciplinary projects within this
context. In Spring 2003 Fab will end within a large,
vivid happening where the developed installations,
performances, objects and products will be presented
to a large public for the exploration of these fields.
This event can possibly take place at the Migros
Museum of Contemporary Art in Zurich.

Time and speed are essential categories in western

virtualization. In the context of movement and
interactivity we will experiment with the perception
of speed and the accelerative dynamics of modern urban
living.

Fab Workshop 2::: Ray Banning
Time: September 14th until 20th 2002
Workshop Adviser: Wolfgang Heiniger (www.stopBit.ch) /
Tomek Kolczinski (www.kold.ch)
Our sophisticated existence is made possible and at
the same time threatened by various types of rays.
