The CAA Services for Artists Committee is hosting two informative community-building roundtable sessions that will allow artists to meet with representatives from local and national institutions, artist-run centers, residency programs, and skilled professionals for your business and professional development in small group settings. Discussions support individual artist’s needs for open-source skill-sharing, networking, and camaraderie. Stuff for Artists 2017 includes expert advice, discussions, and topic presentations hosted at each of eight roundtables.
Session one 10-11:15am participants include:
David Terry from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Travis Laughlin from the Joan Mitchell Foundation and Gia Hamilton from the Joan Mitchell Center, and Kendal Henry from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs' Percent for Art Program.
Session Two: 11:30-12:20pm participants include:
Christopher Carroll from the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Melissa Levin from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Reps from the CUE Art Foundation, and Bowie Zunino from the Wassaic Project.
