Cedar Key Artist-in-Residence Program

Cedar Key Artist-in-Residence (CKAiR) offers visual artists the opportunity to pursue their artistic discipline while being surrounded by the wildlife and nature of the island of Seahorse Key. Selected artists stay on Seahorse Key and live in the historic Lighthouse for one week. Participants can work in a wilderness environment, surrounded by sea grass meadows, salt marshes and abundant wildlife.

Cedar Key Artist-in-Residence Program is sponsored by Cedar Key Arts Center, University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Science Biological Station and Friends of the Lower Suwannee River and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges.
