Field Projects is pleased to announce our Spring Open Call! Emerging and mid-career artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in our May 2016 exhibition: Show #31. All submissions will be considered by our Guest Curator Jesse David Penridge for Show #31 and the accompanying online exhibition. Simultaneously, Field Projects Panel of Independent Curators will be considering your submissions for future group shows, solo shows and art fairs. (80% of the artists we have shown in the last 4 years have been discovered through the Open Call.)
With your submission you will get 3 opportunities:
1. Show #31 curated by Jesse David Penridge.
2. Online Exhibition curated by Jesse David Penridge and Field Projects.
3. Future Exhibitions at Field Projects, Outside Exhibitions by our FP panel members and Art Fairs.
Field Projects is an NYC-based project space located in the heart of Chelsea's gallery district. As an artist run space, we are committed to opening the field of exhibition opportunities to other working artists.
About the Curator
Jesse David Penridge holds a Master from the University of Sussex, UK in Aesthetics. Since entering the art world from the side of philosophy and theory Penridge has curated exhibitions, both solo and in collaboration with museums and not for profit institutions.

About Show #31
The theme of the show will come from the work submitted.
Selected artists will be notified by April 19th.
All artwork must arrive at Field Projects by Thursday, April 28th.
Show #31 opens on Thursday, May 5th, 2016.
All artwork in Show #31 will be for sale, with artists receiving 50% of final sale.
