Thought you should know…while it doesn't bother me that neither of my
two submissions to Ars this year was selected, it is quite interesting
and very revealing about the internal selection process at Ars/ORF that
neither of my submissions were even looked at on the web. I made special
versions of the submissions on my web site so I could discover when and
what the selection committee was looking at (recall that all submissions
were to be presented online via a URL). During the entire selection
period my web site was up continuously, yet I received not a single hit
from any judge. In the future I think that the committee should be
encouraged to actually *look* at the submissions…don't you? Time for a
real takeover!
