Maxine Heppner is pleased to announce the launch of

Across Oceans | At Home

A 3-week residency program this May-June 2001 in Toronto, Canada

21 days of intensive interaction with international artists-in-residence
daily workshops, master classes, seminars with the individual artists
and the collaborative groups studio time for exploration, creation,
performance one-on-one interaction and mentoring This year's focus is on
dance and its integration with music, language, clown, and the visual
arts

Where do art-forms intersect? How do specialties integrate? What are the
processes to get there? Is art universal across disciplines, across
oceans? Why collaboration? skills, strategies, theory into practice
interest in physically-based creation is essential: dance training not
necessary dancers will have daily practice
