INVENTIONS:
Is the Internet project of the "Festival of Vision. Hong Kong - Berlin
2000". The website presents inventions in general - Chinese and German,
historical and current, serious and off-beat, realized or not - as an
independent art project. Two groups of artists, web designers, and
editors in Berlin and Hong Kong conceived and shaped the website
together. Both groups were concerned with inventions from their own and
from the other culture, dealing with them in an artistic, associative
manner.

All the multimedia means of expression of the internet are used in the
15 artefacts: text, images, videos, sounds, animation, and
interactivity. The site will constantly change and expand during the
course of the festival and stay online also in 2001. The discussion
forum installed for the two teams is opened to the public and offers all
users a forum for discussion and exchange.
