Sunset is a global internet art project by Icelandic artist Pall Thayer.
The idea is to show how the internet has reduced the world in which we
live. Thanks to the internet, we can now enjoy a live sunset at whatever
time of the day suits us best. But of course, live streaming video
doesn't provide the right atmosphere for viewing a sunset, therefore the
sunset project provides atmosphere enhancing music to go with each
sunset. By using motion tracking software, each sunset produces it's
own, unique soundtrack. For the Icelandic speaking public, this gives
the project a seperate meaning, for the Icelandic word for sunset can
also mean "song of the sun".

The project will be shown live, every weekend till December 4th. If
participants are interested in keeping it "alive" longer, we might just
