"CRISIS ART" EXHIBITION OPEN: call for entries

For 1998 we are planing an international exhibition of computer
generated digital prints in a central London venue. This is intended as
a survey of innovative experimental contemporary art dealing with issues
affecting the world today. The exhibition may also include painting and
photography.

This is planned as an exhibition of artworks which look in a critical,
questioning and constructive way at the state of our society and culture
now. The exhibition will seek to present works from a selection of
artists who articulate a visual language and content which is a
developing and transformative critique of social, cultural, ideological
and ecological issues. The time for innovative work of this kind is long
overdue.

The aim of this exhibition is to bring together professional artists
working primarily in 2-d digital computer generated prints (but may also
include painting, drawing, printmaking, photography).

The art work we hope to select will inevitably have roots in, or
affinities with, traditions as diverse as the socially concerned cubism
of R. Delaunay, DADA and Surrealism (Hausmann, H
