I am involved in the creation of a web site linking qualified minority
candidates to corporate recruiters. The publisher has brought me onboard
to develop original content and to help shepherd the project from
inception to reality. The site is currently under wraps with an
anticpated launch date slated for October.
I have been entrusted with building the Hispanic_American section. At
this point in time, I would like to publish online upcoming cultural
events relevant to the Spanish-speaking community. The events must
somehow relate to Ibero–Catholic culture. The subject matter could be
anything from a retrospective on Spanish old- masters to Puerto-Rican
sculptors. I am particularly interested in themes exploring religious
faith, magical realism, progressive social movements, and the US
immigrant experience. Hispanic Heritage month is just around the corner,
so any URL's would be deeply appreciated
As this site progresses it can be used to showcase the work of emerging
Latino artists. I'm more interested in the process of making art than
passing aesthetic judgement.
